Each and every day in the UK another 780 people are diagnosed with cancer. Macmillan Cancer Support provides practical, medical, emotional and financial support. As well as a source of support, we are a force for change, working with people affected by cancer to improve cancer care.

We are looking for an exceptional, passionate individual to help meet our ambition: to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer by 2010.

With responsibility for a multi-million pound budget, you'll strengthen Macmillan's profile throughout the UK – leading large scale brand awareness campaigns and championing Macmillan's brand and corporate identity; marketing a wide range of services; and helping market and support our fundraising and campaigning activities.

You'll have experience of developing marketing strategies, managing agencies and large budgets. And we need you to lead and inspire a large team, so you'll also have an impressive track record in senior management and the depth and breadth of experience to be able to grow a new marketing function into a highly successful operation.
