In partnership with others
We listen to people affected by cancer and work together to improve cancer care and fight inequalities. People who have lived with cancer are experts by experience and it is through working together that we decide what issues we will campaign on. Our work in partnership with others is detailed below.
Cancer Campaigning Group
An umbrella organisation of 28 leading cancer charities campaigning for a second NHS cancer plan to prioritise the care and support needs of people affected by cancer
The UK Lung Cancer Coalition
A coalition of leading lung cancer experts, healthcare companies and charities with an interest in the disease who have joined together to fight lung cancer.
The Disability Benefits Consortium
The Disability Benefits Consortium brings together a wide range of disability organisations, older people’s organisations, advice services, carers’ organisations, the child poverty action group and the TUC. The consortium meets with Government ministers and officials on a regular basis.
The Prostate Cancer Charter for action
Macmillan is a member of the Prostate Cancer Charter for Action Group, a collaboration between the key voluntary sector and professional groups with a commitment to tackling prostate cancer.
