Get challenged at one of our specially tailored team building activities – exclusive to Royal Bank of Scotland Group staff.
Have you got what it takes to be a Macmillan fundraiser for a day?
We're looking for groups of 20-25 people to take part in our bespoke Get challenged events. Teams of Royal Bank of Scotland Group employees will go head to head to come up with new business and fundraising ideas for Macmillan that involve the local community, and which will raise money and add value to our organisation.
What does a Get challenged event look like?
The events will each follow a similar structure but will be tailored to the local needs of the Macmillan Regional Fundraiser and the employee team taking part.
Each activity is designed to be fun, interactive and a great team-building exercise with the added benefit that staff can help raise money for a good cause and see what it's like to work for Macmillan. The events can take place in one day or can be spread out over a longer period. All teams will also be set a small fundraising challenge in advance of the away day to prepare the team for the tasks ahead!
Teams will need to work together to raise as much money as possible using their skills of negotiation, team work and sheer determination.
Some of the activities you may be asked to carry out may not have a fundraising element, but they will be adding value to Macmillan.
Challenges could include:

organising, promoting and running a small fundraising event

getting local press to publish a photograph or securing a broadcast on a local radio station

running a Macmillan stall in a public place to meet a fundraising and/or an awareness raising target

manning an information pod to help distribute information about our services

setting up a competition or raffle to be organised and held in one day
-
organising and running a public collection.
