Santa Girls Festive Fundraising

Festive pony delivery for village Christmas Cards raises money for Macmillan.

Storm Ryan

Storm Ryan, age 7, spread Yuletide cheer and raised funds for Macmillan Cancer Support in the village of West Illsey on Sunday 16th December when she delivered the village Christmas cards on her Shetland pony, Sam, while dressed as Santa.

Storm, who carried out her fundraising despite fracturing her arm, raised the money for people affected by cancer by asking for a donation to deliver the villagers Christmas cards.

Storm's mother, Angela, explains 'Storm understands that people who have cancer need extra help because of family friends who have been affected. She wanted to do something that would help and would allow her to spend more time on her beloved pony so we came up with the idea for her and Sam to dress as Santa and Rudolph to deliver the village Christmas cards.'

This festive fundraising by Storm and Sam raised a brilliant £188.33 for Macmillan and people affected by cancer.
