Armstrong Hall in Thornbury was full to the rafters on the last weekend in September as the sounds of laughter and tap dancing announced the long awaited arrival of "Stepping Out", an extremely entertaining production presented by Desiree Osbourne and Sky Productions.
The performance sold out on both nights and the atmosphere was electric as the cast took their audience on a journey that followed a beginners' tap class, from hesitant start, to first public appearance with a lively range of tap dancing routines and humorous dialogue.
Desiree Osbourne formed the Sky Productions group for this one-off production, solely to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and the result was phenomenal. Thanks to her hard work and that of everyone involved, Sky Productions raised a fantastic £5654.27 exceeded their anticipated target by over £2000.
