Arch to Arc Challenge 2007.
Duncan Bates and his 3 brave friends Mark, Andy and Pippa, raised a fantastic £3267.00 for Macmillan Cancer Support through their Arch2Arc challenge which started on a Friday morning at 5:10am at Marble Arch and finished at Sunday morning 6:36am at the Arc de Triomphe - a total of just 49hrs and 26mins!!
They ran from Marble Arch to Dover harbour, swam in Dover harbour and cycled from Calais to Paris. Everyone at Macmillan really appreciates the lengths they went to raise this money – we will certainly make sure it is put to good use!
Duncan and the team would like to offer their sincere thanks to their support crew Simon and his daughter Megan (aged 9) without whom they would have never reached Paris. They would also like to thank all those who so generously donated. Thank – you all!!
