Fashion Goes Green!
On 18 July, the Friday Night Youth Project of Woodingdean held a Recycled Fashion Show in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support at the Saltdean Friendship Centre. The show was a complete success, raising £250 for Macmillan.

A group of budding fashion designers who attend the club, lead by Project Youth Worker, Eleanor Dyson, were keen to raise funds, drawing upon their flare for fashion. For the past few weeks, they have been busy creating and designing their items, which were modelled at the event. A Police Community Support Officer also gave a talk about recycling in the local area and local band, Anti-Social, provided music for the event.
Tris Jones, Sussex Community Fundraiser for Macmillan said:
"thank you so much to Elle and her team. I know they all put an incredible amount of hard work into organising the event and I so pleased it was a resounding success!"
The participants were also awarded their Brighton and Hove Bronze Youth Awards for their hard work.
