Chart-topping band Nizlopi helped raise over £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support at a gig at the Sanctuary Cafe in Hove on 6 September 2008.
Music in memory of Sandra
The concert was organised by friends of Sandra Koa Wing, who died from bowel cancer aged 28 in May 2007.
'Macmillan nurses provided invaluable support to Sandra and myself', says Sandra's husband Peter. 'That's why we wanted to raise some money to support Macmillan's work, and the event was such a success that we might do it all again next year.'
Not only has Pete and Sandra’s friends raised money for Macmillan, but they have also made a wonderful tribute to Sandra’s memory by celebrating her through a night of good music and good friends.
