  • Abseil Zipwire Challenge Sunday, 06 July 2008
    Following on from last year's successful Zipwire at West Ham we will be returning to the Stadium to do not only a Zipwire but an abseil as well – all on the same day. You can zip across the pitch or abseil down the Bobby Moore stand or do both!

  • Mad Hatters Walk
    A huge thankyou to everyone who took part in the walk on Sunday; it proved to be a fantastic day!  
  • Abseil Zipwire Challenge
    Last year's zipwire challenge was such a success that we'll be returning to the Stadium to do not only a Zipwire but an abseil as well! Last years’s abseil and zipwire raised an incredible £30,000 for local people affected by cancer and this year, we hope to do even better.
  • The Flying Knights
    "The Flying Knights" departed at 8am on Tuesday 15th May from St John the Evangelist Church,  in Shirley on their marathon bike ride to Paris and arrived in Paris on Sunday 20th May.

Daredevil Macmillan fundraisers!

Welcome to Macmillan Cancer Support in London!

There are currently 27,000 people in London living with cancer. Macmillan works to support and improve the lives of everyone affected by cancer in London.

In 2007 thanks to Macmillan's supporters across London, Macmillan was able to:

  • Fund 46 new Macmillan nurses and other medical professionals bringing the total up to 678 across the capital.
  • Provide grants worth £486,149 to 1439 people affected by cancer across London. Macmillan gives these grants to help with a wide range of practical needs, such as fares to and from hospital, heating bills and washing machines. We also give grants that help people maintain their quality of life.
  • Answer the queries of 4268 Londoners concerned about cancer through our Cancerline.
