The Great Wall of China trip was a fantastic experience.
I chose to take part because it was my 30th birthday this year and I wanted to mark the occaision by doing something very special - the opportunity to be involved in such an amazing challenge, meet so many great people and achieve more than I ever thought I could all to raise money for such a worthy charity, was truely a once in a lifetime experience.
The challenge started long before we arrived in China - the training and fundraising in preparation were all part of the experience, and certainly kept me busy! As a group we raised over £200,000 for Macmillan, which I feel is an amazing achievement by all.
