Cycling in Provence
Hampshire volunteer Eileen Phillips has been cycling in Provence with her husband, John, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Eileen's trip was not for the faint hearted: nearly 300 miles over 9 days on amazing fold up bikes with paniers weighing over 12kgs.
The route started at Avignon, taking them through beautiful town such as Orange and Pont St Esprit. Eileen commented that the trip was not as difficult as cycling to the top of Mont Ventoux last year, but it was not without its challenges.'Three days of chronic toothache and 30 miles a day don't mix.'
Watch this space for the plans for next year.
