Kendo Champions
Kendo experts from around the world put on an impressive display of their skills in order to raise money for Macmillan.
The ancient art of swordsmanship, as learnt by Japanese warriors for centuries, was demonstrated at the Macmillan Kendo Championships in Portsmouth in February. The Kendo clubs decided to raise money for Macmillan after Phil McLaughlin, one of the senior members of the British Kendo Championship, lost his father to cancer. They raised £500 which is a fantastic result, and are planning to make it an annual event. Thank you to all involved.
