Murray Spark returns from epic challenge

Murray Spark has recently returned from the challenge of a lifetime to raise funds for people affected by cancer, as a tribute to his parents who both died as a result of their cancers.

Murray's mammoth trip started at Prudhoe Bay, Northern Alaska, in the Spring of 2007. Over the following 18 months he cycled through Alaska, North America, Mexico, Central America, Peru, Chile and Argentina, and at various stages of the journey scaling key mountains including Mount McKinley, Tajamulco and Aconcagua.

The distance was in the region of 25,000km, at an average of 100km a day.
