Teresa Moriarty
Teresa and friends walk the walk in memory of a much loved friend.
Teresa Moriarty and many others raised over £10, 000 this year by taking part in Walk Wonders.
This year is the second year Teresa has held the walk in memory of her dear friend Dee Mason, who had organised the walk in the past during cancer journey.
Despite atrocious weather over 200 people attended included Dee's sons and in the last 2 years the walk has raised over £21K.
The event has become a real community walk with lots of fun and games on the field in front of the Lamb Inn, owned by Dee's son.
Money from the walks has gone to Macmillan projects across the area including helping to fund the Palliative Care consultant in a local hospice as well as a variety of posts through the Hampshire appeal.
