JP Morgan Round the Island Yacht Race

Apart from sharing places on the Gipsy Moth, we also had patients and fundraisers on a Clipper Venture yacht.

Jane Person was part of the crew on the Gipsy Moth. Jane is 71 and has recently had breast cancer but is now in good health. Teresa Legg came onboard the Clipper. Teresa is 43 and has a 13 year old daughter and other grown up children. Both have been helped by Macmillan both on the island and also in our centre in Portsmouth.

Other people on board include staff from JP Morgan, ABN AMRO Bank and Skipper, Mate, Pete Swallow, a past Challenge Eventer for Macmillan and the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fundraising Manager, Paul Morgan.

All had a wonderful time (if not a little queasy at times!) and we would like to thank all those involved!
