DJ sets off on 20 mile bike ride for Macmillan
Radio Caroline presenter Martin Turner will be on his bike on 13 August helping to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support.
Martin, who is about to donate bone marrow, will be at the Fowlmead Country Park,Sholden, Nr Deal, Kent for a 10am start. He intends to cycle 20 miles around the circuit. If you wish to sponsor Martin or wish to join him there please email martinturner@radiocaroline.co.uk
Martin Turner has worked as a radio presenter since 1978 when he joined the Gateway Hospital Broadcasting Service (Dover and Deal's Hospital Radio) serving for 20 years. He has also presented on Radio Boulogne Littoral, Atlanta Radio (49mb), White Cliffs Sound (Dover), Shepway Sound (Folkestone) and Coastline FM (Dover) where he was also Station Admin Manager/Ad Traffic.
