Simonstone Festival and Read Run for Life

Local people in Read & Simonstone have certainly been doing their bit to support Macmillan over the last few months. On August Bank Holiday Monday music lovers headed to the first ever Simonstone Festival hosted by the Simonstone Hotel and Phil Davies, who is driving from Staples to Naples in support of Macmillan! A month later the local community again turned out in support of Macmillan on Saturday 22 September at the Run for Life organised by Warren Eastham with the Stork Hotel. Many thanks to all invovled - and heres to both becoming annual local events!
