We scaled new heights!
Well done and thank you to all of our superheroes who took part in the 100ft abseil in Liverpool City Centre on 30 March 2008.
It is amazing what some people will put themselves through on a Sunday morning to help people affected by cancer.
On this particular sunny day nearly 30 people from all over Merseyside went over the top of the Princes Dock multi-storey car park to raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Our supporters took part for all sorts of reasons. Some were facing their fear of heights head on, whilst others were ticking off another 'thing to do before I'm 50'. A couple of our superheroes were a bit wobbly at the top, while some supportive friends and family members were wobbly at the bottom!
In the end everybody successfully completed the challenge and was delighted with themselves.
Well done to all of our abseilers and thank you to everybody who helped us on the day - staff, volunteers and in particular the Malmaison Hotel, Peel Holdings and all of the crew from Alternative Adventure.
We'll keep you updated with the amount raised when the sponsorshp forms come rolling back in.
