  • Strawberries and cream for 2008 Bike Ride
    This year's Strawberry Teas event, in support of this year's 16th annual Great Milk (stout) Ride for Macmillan, took place on Saturday 12th July 2008, at the Clapham Green home of Marion Stockdale, pictured here presenting the initial cheque for £750 to Bob Drake, the hon treasurer.

    Local businesses and schools in Harrogate, Ripon and Knaresborough took part in Macmillan's Go Green Day in June.

    Alan braved the clippers at Glasshouses Primary School and provided a great morning for all the children!

The money you raise helps us to provide more health professionals.

Macmillan works with the NHS and other health and social care partners in your area to improve the lives of people affected by cancer today.

Thanks to the generosity of local people who support Macmillan, local people affected by cancer and their families are being helped by over 30 Macmillan nurses, doctors and specialists, such as an occupational therapist and an information officer helping people in hospitals and in the community throughout North Yorkshire.
