Trees of Thought in Shropshire 2007

We again had two trees in Shropshire last Christmas which between them raised the grand total of £2,400.

Bridgnorth Tree was again kindly donated by the local Rotary Club and despite the heavy rain there was a reasonable turn out to sing some carols and see the lights switched on.

Meanwhile the tree at Hoo Farm kindly donated by the Dorrells is growing in popularity and with kinder weather for their lighting up ceremony, performed by local DJ Shuttsie, a good turn out of some 200 people were seen.

Mince pies and mulled wine were much appreciated to keep out the cold and there was some excellent carol singing accompanied by Wellington Brass Band.
