Surrey walking to Dorking
Over 130 walkers dug out their walking shoes on Sunday 20th May and Walked Wonders along the Mole Gap Trail for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The sun was out with not a cloud in the sky as Mr Philip Hammond MP and his family started the 6 mile and 12 mile walkers at 10.00am, who were shortly followed by those opting for the 2 mile at 10.30am.
One walker, who was walking in memory of a friend said, “the scenery along the walk was beautiful and it was a fantastic way to raise money for such a worthy cause; I will definitely be taking part in Macmillan’s sponsored walk next year!”
