Richard Belcher and friends chose a rather creative way to celebrate his 40th birthday and raise a fantastic £1500 for Macmillan.
They decided the more energetic fundraising activities, like running a marathon or climbing a mountain wasn't really for them, so on a night out Steve and Richard came up with the idea of a sponsored moustache grow, and so 'Tash for Cash' was born!
The moustache grow ended in a judging ceremony at The Inn, West End, on Saturday 18th November and the group were awarded a special trophy for their efforts!
Richard said,
"We are amazed how many people have sponsored us and to raise £1500 has left us all a little gob smacked!"
