Ladies from the Halifax branch in Whickham have raised a fantastic £3697.85 for Macmillan Cancer Support, starting with a Christmas Hamper which was raffled and then matched funded by Halifax.
Margaret Hewitt then led her team even further and organised a fundraising night with Frankie's Cafe band at the Clavering Club in Dunston.
