Clayton Dickensian Market raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
This year the Clayton Dickensian Market will be held in on 6 December 2008 from 11am to 5pm with entertainment all day. The market will be held on Clayton Lane and on Park Lane to School Street and will be raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and Bradford Cancer Support.
There will be 100 stalls where you will be able to buy Christmas gifts, cakes, toys, homemade sweets, crafts and much more. In Victoria Park there will be a miniture train for children to ride on and a children's merry go round.
To entertain you there will be morris dancers, three groups in the park, barbershop singers, and a Ceilidh band in the public houses, jugglers, buskers, barrel organ and much more. There will be the crowning of this year's Snow Queen.
The village hall will be putting on refreshments and the bar will be open if you require something a little stronger.
We hope you will join us at this very popular market where stall holders, organisors, villagers in Dickensian period costume will recreate the yesteryear.
