Alternative Booze Cruise for Fife Appeal
The Officers and ships company of HMS Scotia raised £1600 by an Alternative Booze Cruise.
32 members of the crew swam the channel and rowed back, then raffled off the bottles of booze brought in prior to the start of the challenge.
CPO Henry Gibson organised the event in the swimming pool and the gymnasium at HMS Caledonia, Rosyth. This is one of many various fundraising events he has organised over previous years and the unit has donated over £12,000 to the Fife Appeal.
