Girlguiding gets involved

This year we're working with the Girlguiding movement to organise coffee mornings with friends, family and the local community.

Girl Guides are getting involved in World's Biggest Coffee Morning this yearAs well as being a fun way for Brownies and Guides to get together or provide entertainment, organising and participating in a World's Biggest Coffee Morning could also help them gain several badges:

Guides badges

Party Planner
Organising a coffee morning could be the event for achieving the party planner badge.
Confectioner
Making and decorating sweets and biscuits to be served at a coffee morning could help earn the confectioner badge.
Community Action
Organising a coffee morning for children, older people or people with disabilities could work towards gaining the Community Action badge.

Brownies badges

Hostess
Organising a coffee morning and inviting guests could be the event for achieving the hostess badge.
Cook
Baking and decorating biscuits, cakes or scones to share with other Brownies at a coffee morning could help earn the cooks badge
Writer
Writing an article about the coffee morning for a magazine could work towards achieving the Writer badge.
