Edinburgh Marathon'One lasting impression I was left with is on the way back at mile 22. I was running with a friend who pulled up short with a knee injury, just short of the Team Macmillan cheer area.

As I looked to them I noticed a guy in the group; the cheers and words he gave me as I passed managed to put enough drive into me, to enable me to drive my friend on to the finish line at a running pace.'

Macmillan will be on hand with lots of fundraising and training advice. We will prepare you for the big day, cheer you every step of the way from our supporter points and be on hand with some well-deserved pampering at the finish from our sports therapists, plus there'll be plenty of refreshments.
