You may be eligible for a tax refund if you have to give up work and your income falls.

Contact your local HM Revenue and Customs Enquiry Centre (details are in the phone book or see www.hmrc.gov.uk).
If your circumstances have changed, it is also worth asking if you are still paying the correct amount of tax.
