How your support can help

Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. We provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care.

Without you we couldn't provide any of our services for people living with cancer. For example:

  • Approximately £1,000 could pay for 10 clothing grants for people experiencing weight loss as a result of their treatment.
  • £10,000 could fund our CancerLine for 10 days, enabling staff and volunteers to answer calls, emails and letters from cancer patients and their friends and families.
  • £100,000 could pay for a two room palliative care suite in a hospital, ensuring that cancer patients have a comforting and relaxed atmosphere to rest in.
  • Approximately £315,000 could fund 3 Macmillan nurses for 3 years, providing vital medical, practical and emotional support to people affected by cancer.

The sponsorship that you raise through taking part in the real,-Berlin Marathon will help 1,000's of people affected by cancer in the UK today.
